…and to tide you over until Iqra’i gets a collective handle on schoolwork, social lives, senior essays, jobs, and the increasing amounts of blood in our caffeine system, HuffPo has just posted speeches from September’s YPU debate.
Sadly, no one asked for mine. On the other hand, I have a blog, too, and what could be more democratic than blogging about a debate where I gave a speech about how blogging isn’t democratic?
Well, Twittering it, apparently.
What’s funny is that I didn’t give a speech, and yet they took mine…
And I’m totally okay with it. Totally. Like, I didn’t even notice until someone else pointed it out to me. And even then I didn’t really care. It’s no big thing. I’m not even really thinking about it. I really don’t care at all.
…philip weiss where did you goooooo
Yeah, you got mentioned in the Phillip Weiss piece. I got no comments on the Huff Post entry…
Therefore;
Nicola wins.
Danny Shea didn’t have everybody’s names and probably should have asked George Singer to email all speakers. That said, I’m sure if you emailed him, he’d add you on.
